A Lunar Eclipse in Virgo...on the South Node

The lunar eclipse in Virgo is about a day away.

This particular full moon is NOT suitable for charging your crystals or doing spell work.

This full moon eclipse takes place near the south node of the moon. The south node is a place of emptying, draining, cleansing, and purifying.

The area of our chart where Virgo lies, and the parts of our life connected to this archetype, are receiving a deep clean. And don't Virgos just love a deep clean?!

Virgo is a sign that teaches us about the relationship between the physical and the spiritual. How do we prepare our vessel to receive the inflow of spiritual energy? How do we sort and order ourselves and our environments to become of greater service?

Virgo is also about the transition from the self (Leo) to the other (Libra). In Virgo, the seeds of self awareness sprout and we become aware of our deficiencies. A genuine urge for self improvement grows through humility. This urge is vulnerable to growing into guilt, judgement, and criticism.

Through the processes of self purification and self improvement, we grow in discernment and discrimination, two Virgoan superpowers.

So this might be a powerful time to feel and ponder how we have been too harsh on ourselves, where we have denied ourselves compassion. You might clean your home, your sacred space, or have a ritualistic bath.

Take care,
Natalie
